Happy Canada Day! Always my favorite summer memories. We spent almost every Canada Day in Sylvan Lake at my grandparents house. Watching the boat parade, and fire works over the lake. Could it have been more cliche. Nope and thats the best part! I hope my kids get to experience the same feeling. Only they will get two holidays!
This year we have planned horribly enough to miss both holidays in corresponding countries by two days. How does that happen? You would think we could hit one of them. But nope in the US for Canada day and in Canada for Fourth of July. Too bad. Gonna miss all the eating crap and fireworks. But thats ok we can still celebrate! And I hope you all do the same. Enjoy the day off and make some memories with your friends and family! And maybe a little cake too!
