For each and every single person who was behind us during Sawyer’s journey, thank you. We couldn’t send thank you’s to every single person. {Though I would have loved to!} I wanted to share it with you over the blog. I’ve said it a million times, but it will never be enough. You all made it a more enjoyable and easier time during the surgery and recovery. You were there for support and I am still speechless over how many people reached out and continue to give us encouragement. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Can’t believe how far he’s come! I can’t even look at our surgery pictures yet. Still too close for me!
It’s truly awesome seeing how well everything has gone. You and B are perfect parents 🙂
No one is perfect, we’re just doing the best we can!
I love this! Aiden’s surgery was yesterday and we’re already out of the ICU into our room. He’s doing great thus far, but still pretty medicated. We’ll have the bandage removed later and see the scar for the first time. Glad to have been as prepared for the worst as we were. We’ll share some photos later.

Tim!
So good to hear from you again. Glad Aiden is out of Surgery and doing well! I shed a tear writing this and thinking of those memories again. I’m so touched that my blog helped prepare you for the worst, and that you are leaving updates! We all have to stick together.
This next week is the worst, and then all of a sudden it’s behind you.
Don’t be afraid to be pushy with the nurses. For the most part ours were amazing but sometimes you have to do what you feel is best for your child, not what they think is best based on reading a chart.
I will be thinking of your family so much these next few days. Stay strong. Would love to see pictures! you can always email them at lissables@gmail.com
lots of love
